Hello! I’m Asuka

Yes, it’s the same name as Evangelion’s heroine, pronounced as [Aska]. I’m an art director & self-taught illustrator based in San Francisco, studying design & psychology at Minerva University.

Having lived in 7 cities, I’ve always been asking this question: “How do we understand each other, beyond differences?” My answer was design. I use design as a language to open hearts

Why I primarily work with social impact projects
I believe people are beautiful. Their stories are everywhere, waiting to be discovered. I want to work to celebrate the beauty of humanness, rather than destroying it.

What sets me apart from others
I have fire in my heart for making change, eyes for detail, and ears to listen. My studies in psychology and design can help your organization tell a persuasive story to your audience.
What I bring to the table
  • Stamina to drive from concept through execution
  • AI fluency that accelerates making
  • Transparency that pushes quality and keeps communication flowing

Who I like to work with
I enjoy working with passionate, experimental creatives with a kind heart. If you are looking for someone who wears suits and follows convention, we might not be the best fit.
